At CG Jones, safety is how we run the work, not a policy we keep on file. Our EMR is 0.77, down from 0.83, and that number comes from our insurance carrier rather than from us. It means fewer claims than the industry average for the work we do, and it's the first thing most owners and general contractors look at.
We have a dedicated safety manager who oversees training and monitors active job sites. Every foreman holds OSHA 10 certification and several hold OSHA 30. Every crew runs a job safety analysis before work starts, every project, every day, backed by weekly company-wide meetings and regular audits. Any employee can stop work over an unsafe condition without asking permission.
We're prequalified with ISNetworld and Avetta, with insurance, training records, and safety documentation current in both systems.
That's what keeps our people going home the same way they showed up, and it's why owners let us on their sites.

Daily Job Safety Analysis
Every crew, every project, every morning before work starts. Weekly company-wide safety meetings and regular site audits back it up. Our safety manager monitors active job sites in person.
Stop-Work Authority
Any employee can stop work over an unsafe condition, at any time, without asking permission first. No exceptions and nobody second-guessed for using it.
