Florence Galvanized Pipe Projects 4 & 5
Project Details
We replaced aging galvanized water lines for the City of Florence, improving service reliability and water quality while carefully working within established neighborhoods.
CG Jones partnered with the City of Florence to replace aging galvanized water lines as part of its ongoing infrastructure improvement program. For Phase 4 and 5, our crews demolished outdated pipes, installed 56,450 linear feet of new water mains and 704 new water services, and restored impacted areas including roadways and yards. These upgrades not only improved water quality and reliability for residents but also modernized the city’s underground infrastructure for long-term service. What made this project unique was the coordination required to minimize disruption in established neighborhoods, ensuring residents experienced as little impact as possible during construction.
