DEMOPOLIS BOAT RAMP

CG Jones delivered the site development and construction for the Demopolis Boat Ramp, a project designed to expand public access to the Black Warrior River. Our scope included mass excavation, grading, and drainage improvements, along with installation of underground utilities and paving for access roads and parking areas. The ramp itself required precise concrete placement and slope control to ensure long-term durability and safe use for boaters. The site presented unique challenges, including managing fluctuating river levels and working in sensitive environmental conditions near the water’s edge. Our team coordinated closely with local officials and engineers to sequence construction efficiently while minimizing disruption to the surrounding landscape. By completing this project, CG Jones helped provide the community with a reliable new river access point that supports recreation, tourism, and the continued vitality of the Demopolis area.
